A hinge cup jig such as the rocker concealed hinge jig it is recommended for fast accurate drilling of hinge cup bores. A long shank forstner bit sold separately to match your hinge cup size is required to use the jig. Like the jig it drilling jig the router jig it comes pre drilled with screw holes to set up for holes centered on either 22 5mm or 20 5mm from the edge of the door. The system comes with a sturdy 36 aluminum rail and two hinge cup drilling guides that slide along the rail to align with your hinge plates.

Use with the 5 8 short shank guide bushing 38756 sold separately specially designed for 1 4 template stock and a 1 2 diameter spiral upcut bit. Carbide bits are recommended. Armed with only our concealed hinge drilling guide and a hand drill you can drill perfectly positioned cup holes for your concealed hinges.
